DEATHS: WIFE: DAUGHTER: Parish Church Berriew, gravestone viewed by submitter in July 1999. Headstone reads: "Eccl Chap VII, Clementina, beloved wife of Richard R. Harding, who died August 3rd, 1878 age 30 yrs - Affliction sore long time she bore, Physicians were in vain, Til God did please to give her ease, And freed her from her pain." Same headstone reads "Loving memory of Elizabeth, daughter of Richard R. and Clementina Harding, Books, in parish of Bettws, February 27 1878, Age 10 months, Safe in the Arms of Jesus." Clementina contracted Tuberculosis at the time she became pregnant with the youngest daughter, Elizabeth. Elizabeth lived only a few months, and a few months later Clementina died.

NOTE: Information received from Anne Stormont regarding Alice, as a daughter of Clementina before she married RR Harding. This daughter could possibly have the surname Davies.

SURNAME: Information passed to me by Anne Stormont, a gt granddaughter of Richard Rogers Harding.

Sarah Annie Harding

DEATH: BURIAL: Information received from Anne Stormont, granddaughter of Sarah Ann. Died at 81 Beaumont Road, Bournville and Buried at Brandwood End, Kings Heath, Birmingham. Plot B3 939.
"Sarah Annie Harding went into service in London, Herts after her father married again and met her husband, a groom/coachman from Hertfordshire. They had four boys and eventually decided that they should move into Birmingham where there would be more opportunity for the boys to find work other than in service. They then had my mother followed seven and a half years later by my aunt."
